Servings: 6

1 cup whole milk ricotta OR
ricotta impestata
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
3 tablespoons powdered sugar
1 teaspoon grated orange zest
1/4 teaspoon ground
cinammon
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla
extract
1/4 cup grated chocolate
12 1/4 inch thick slices pound
cake
2 tablespoons unsalted butter

Mix together the ricotta, both sugars, zest,
cinammon, and vanilla.

Fold in the chocolate, cover, and refrigerate for 1
hour.

Divide the filling between six slices of pound cake.
Cover with the remaining slices to form
sandwiches.

Heat butter over medium heat in large pan. Add the
sandwiches and cook until each side is golden
brown, about 2-3 minutes each side.

Per Serving: 73 Calories; 4g Fat (46.3% calories from fat); trace Protein; 10g Carbohydrate; 0g Dietary Fiber; 10mg Cholesterol; 1mg Sodium.

Exchanges: 1 Fat; 1/2 Other Carbohydrates.
